A mid-sized CA firm brings AI-powered redaction to sensitive financial documents with Redactron
From manually reviewing sensitive client documents to an AI-assisted redaction workflow—built for privacy, human oversight, and on-premises deployment.

The objective isn’t to remove human oversight. It’s to focus human attention where judgment is actually needed.
Redacting sensitive information was still a manual process
The firm works with large volumes of financial and compliance documents containing information such as PAN, Aadhaar, bank account details, addresses, contact information, and other client identifiers.
Before documents could be shared or processed further, sensitive information had to be identified and redacted manually—a repetitive process where accuracy depends heavily on reviewer attention.
As document volumes grow, so does the effort required to protect client information.
Building an AI agent for redaction
We built Redactron to shift the first layer of document review from manual searching to AI-assisted detection.
Redactron analyzes the document and its context, identifies sensitive information, masks high-confidence detections, and surfaces uncertain cases for human review.
It then performs a verification pass on the redacted document and creates an audit trail of what was detected, masked, or flagged.
From MVP acceptance to on-premises deployment
Following evaluation, the client accepted the MVP, validating Redactron’s approach to AI-assisted document redaction.
The next phase brings Redactron on-premises, enabling the firm to run the solution within its own environment while maintaining greater control over sensitive financial and client documents.
What started as a manual redaction problem is becoming a privacy-first AI workflow.
Results at a glance
- Manual page-by-page redaction replaced by AI detection with human review of exceptions
- High-confidence identifiers masked automatically; uncertain cases flagged
- Verification pass and audit trail of what was detected, masked, or flagged
- On-premises deployment so client data stays inside the firm’s environment
Redactron — Detect. Redact. Verify.
